Here's why: Our web store will automatically reduce the price of some plug-in collections based on what you currently own. For example, the Neve 1073 Preamp & EQ Collection will be discounted to a lower price if you already own the Neve 1073/1073 SE Legacy plug-ins. If you do not own the Legacy plug-ins at the time of purchase, the web store will show you the standard price. Plug-in collections contain the newer versions of the plug-in(s) as well as the Legacy version(s). I am a bit confused by the bundle pricing. Why do I get a discount for the Distortion Essentials and Softube Amp Room Bundle from the Plugins that came with my Apollo (Raw and Amp Room Half-Stack, Bass Amp Room 8x10) but none for the other bundles of which I already own one or more plugins. Already owning Vari Mu and Massive Passive I'd love to buy the Voxbox but I don't get anything off. Same for the EMT Bundle and Neve Bundles which don't come cheaper although I already have the 140 and everything except the 31102 and 88RS Channel Strip.Too bad I already own the plugins that are a steal this time (Culture Vulture, Massive Passive), so for me the half-year sale is not really attractive.

I still don't understand why UA is not really offering 'tailor-made' deals to their customers. I own 55 UAD plugins so it should be possible to ask 'what do you need?' Instead of sending out a ton of emails during the sale suggesting to buy stuff I either don't want (Zener Limiter) or I already have (Fairchild, Culture Vulture, Oxide). The voucher is another issue, didn't we get 50 off last time instead of 25? You are not alone. It has bin like that ever since they started to offer bundles.

But they have made the collect 3, 6 or 10 plugins bundle to offer the same deal for us that bought single plugins, wich ua have made bundles of later on. Upgrades always come at a reduced price.

I usualy dump some cash on ua every 2-3 years, to give them my support. This year I took the 10 plugins bundle for 999.

Thats 10 plugins for 99.9 each. If you compare the price you are paying for that deal with their bundles and reduced bundle prices. You will see that you are getting a killer deal.

Even if you use it to fill in the blanks from other bundles you missed the bundle deal on. And the custom bundle is for all single plugins, so you can pick up any plugin at reduced price using the custom bundle. So all plugins are on sale this summer.

The all plugins bundle is also a great deal. If you need to expand in to a new system or just moving over to the uad platform. It can offcourse be a bad deal for us regual customers wich are stuck between owning half the plugins++, or looking at selling out from the platform. As it severly reduce second hand value on the plugins.

Actually you have a good point, the price per plugin is unbeatable regarding the quality of their stuff. My only concern is buying too much so that I have too many options or start to stop using stuff simply because something new came out. That has happened so many times already (Compressors being the worst in this category for me). The other thing is DSP power.
